Membership Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Membership Terms”) apply when you purchase or hold a paid membership of Women in Construction Hub (“WIC Hub”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

WIC Hub is currently treated as being operated by EDI IN COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY.

These Membership Terms should be read alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. WIC Hub Membership

WIC Hub is a professional membership and community platform supporting women working in and around the construction industry.

Membership provides access to WIC Hub services and benefits which may include:

  • the WIC Hub member community;
  • your regional WIC Hub community;
  • member profiles and networking;
  • mentorship and member discovery features;
  • member messaging;
  • events and community activities;
  • the Resource Vault;
  • partner benefits and opportunities; and
  • other membership services introduced from time to time.

The precise services and benefits available may change as WIC Hub develops.

2. Regional Membership

WIC Hub operates through regional communities.

When joining, you select the regional membership appropriate to you.

Members may hold active membership of more than one WIC Hub region. Where you purchase membership for an additional region, that membership may be charged separately and will have its own billing arrangement.

Your active regional membership determines access to the corresponding private regional WIC Hub community.

New regions may be introduced as WIC Hub expands.

3. Membership Plans and Prices

WIC Hub currently offers the following paid membership options for each available region:

Monthly Membership — £15 per month

Annual Membership — £150 per year

The applicable price and billing period will be displayed during checkout before you purchase.

Prices may change from time to time. Any change affecting an existing recurring membership will be communicated as required by applicable law and will not be applied retrospectively to payments already made.

4. Automatic Renewal

Monthly and annual memberships are recurring subscriptions unless stated otherwise at checkout.

A monthly membership will ordinarily renew each month.

An annual membership will ordinarily renew each year.

By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorise the applicable payment provider to take recurring payments using your selected payment method until the membership is cancelled or otherwise ends.

The amount and billing frequency will be shown before you complete checkout.

5. Payment

Membership payments are processed using third-party payment services, including Stripe.

You are responsible for providing valid payment information and ensuring that sufficient funds are available when a payment becomes due.

If a recurring payment fails, access to membership services may be restricted or suspended in accordance with our payment and membership administration processes.

We may make reasonable attempts to notify you or allow payment details to be updated where appropriate.

6. Starting Your Membership

Your membership will normally begin once your payment has been successfully processed and the membership has been activated.

Once active, you will receive access to the member services associated with your membership and region.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied when joining is accurate.

7. Changing Your Membership

Where available, you may change between monthly and annual billing for the same regional membership.

Any applicable price, billing date or payment implications should be displayed or communicated as part of the change process.

Changing the billing plan within the same region does not create a separate regional community membership.

If you wish to join an additional WIC Hub region, this may require a separate regional membership and payment.

8. Cancelling Your Membership

You may cancel a recurring WIC Hub membership through the membership account facilities provided on the website or by contacting us at hello@wichub.co.uk if you require assistance.

Cancellation stops future renewals for the membership concerned.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed by WIC Hub, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund of payments already made.

Your membership access may continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, depending on how the cancellation is processed and the applicable membership arrangement.

If you hold membership in more than one region, cancelling one regional membership does not necessarily cancel your other active regional memberships.

9. Cooling-Off and Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you purchase membership online as a consumer, you may have a statutory right under UK consumer law to cancel your contract within 14 days of entering into it.

Because WIC Hub provides digital and membership services that may become available shortly after purchase, the way these rights apply can depend on when services begin and what you agreed to during checkout.

Nothing in these Membership Terms is intended to remove or restrict any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply to you.

If you wish to exercise a statutory cancellation right, contact us promptly at hello@wichub.co.uk.

Before launch, WIC Hub should ensure that its checkout wording and cancellation process accurately reflect the statutory cancellation arrangements applicable to the membership service.

10. Refunds

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the relevant paid membership period has begun, except where:

  • you have a statutory right to a refund;
  • a payment has been taken incorrectly;
  • WIC Hub agrees that a refund is appropriate; or
  • applicable law otherwise requires one.

Where you believe a payment has been taken incorrectly, please contact hello@wichub.co.uk.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

11. Membership Access

Membership access is personal to the registered member.

You must not share your account or allow another person to use membership-only areas through your account.

Access to particular regional groups, resources, benefits or other services may depend on having the relevant active membership.

12. Member Conduct

Members must comply with the WIC Hub Terms of Use and applicable community standards.

We expect members to behave professionally and respectfully towards other members, regional Chairs, partners, speakers, staff and other people participating in WIC Hub activities.

Serious or repeated breaches may result in restriction, suspension or termination of membership access.

13. Suspension or Termination by WIC Hub

We may suspend or terminate a membership where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • membership fees remain unpaid;
  • an account is being used fraudulently;
  • a member seriously or repeatedly breaches our Terms of Use or community standards;
  • the safety, privacy or wellbeing of another member is at risk;
  • membership access is being shared or misused; or
  • we are legally required to take action.

We will seek to act reasonably and proportionately in the circumstances.

Whether any refund is due following termination will depend on the circumstances, these Membership Terms and applicable law.

14. Regional Chairs

Regional Chairs may help welcome members and administer WIC Hub regional communities.

Regional Chairs are not authorised to change membership prices, contractual terms, payment arrangements or refund rights on behalf of WIC Hub unless WIC Hub has expressly authorised them to do so.

15. Events, Partners and Additional Services

Some WIC Hub events, partner services or other opportunities may be subject to separate eligibility requirements, availability, charges or terms.

Membership does not guarantee admission to every event or access to every third-party offer.

Partner benefits may be changed or withdrawn by WIC Hub or the relevant partner.

16. Changes to Membership Services

We may make reasonable changes to membership features and services as WIC Hub develops.

This may include introducing new features, changing how existing features operate, adding regions or changing third-party services used to deliver the membership.

Where a change materially affects an existing paid membership, we will provide information or notice where appropriate.

17. Changes to Prices or These Membership Terms

We may change membership prices or these Membership Terms from time to time.

Any new price will be clearly displayed for new purchases.

Where a price change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide any notice required by applicable law before the new price applies.

The latest version of these Membership Terms will be available on the WIC Hub website.

18. Ending WIC Hub or a Membership Service

If WIC Hub permanently discontinues a paid membership service before the end of a period for which a member has already paid, we will deal with any affected prepaid membership fees fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Membership Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Membership Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

To the extent permitted by law, WIC Hub is not responsible for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control or by independent third parties, members or services that WIC Hub does not provide.

20. Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Membership information may also be used to administer your regional community access and provide necessary membership communications.

21. Governing Law

These Membership Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to confirmation of the legal entity's jurisdiction before launch and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
